Does anyone know if normal lice shampoo for hair will work for pubic lice or if not any over the counter creams etc that can be bought in chemists such as boots or the likes. Cheers

I think your best bet is going and asking a chemist, they likely know what will work over the counter.
I've a feeling pubic lice would be hardier feckers than head lice so might need a different shampoo/ointment.
You can ask the chemist to speak privately and they can show you to a small back room, so you can have privacy.

Just got a bottle of Lyclear Dermal Cream (30g), seems to be helping anyway. Took quite a while searching online for something. Found it here and went to the local chemist which had it in store. expresschemist.co.uk/pubic-lice.html#.V6TkyMso_qA
