After years of procastinating, ive decided to get my teeth straightened&my bite corrected. There is a lot of info available to a first timer... Its a little daunting. I want to do this once&as it is quiet expensive I want it to work first time. Ive heard varied feedback on local orthodontists & I think I need some customer feedback. Who has had a good experience getting their braces done so that i can make an informed decision? Thanks a million in advance..

Like yourself I procrastinated for a long time before I decided to go for braces. I was wondering too about the cost and the inconveniences about wearing them. Wasnt happy with the appearance of my smile and felt a bit self conscious about my teeth which actually werent too crooked but they bothered me quite a bit. Well having gone through the process my only regret was that I didn't get it done sooner. Believe it or not by the end of the treatment I was almost sad to get them removed as I could see the difference they were making and I just wanted my teeth that little bit more perfect. Just go for it. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. It's been about 4 years since I had the orthodontics and I still appreciate how much better my teeth look now and you'll feel much better about yourself

you can usually get a free consultation in most orthodontists. Why not go to a few and see how you feel. Different people have different relationships with their orthodontist so its best to see how confident you feel with them.
