    Hi All,

I have had a niggling tooth since I got it filled last September. It's an upper back tooth. I am not in terrible pain but most days it's just mildly sore. I had no problem with it before - I was just in for a check up and the dentist said it had a cavity. I mentioned when I went back about the discomfort that I did have an issue with a white filling before which had to be removed. She said if the discomfort continued that she would remove the filling for me.

However I suffer from anxiety/OCD and I cannot decide whether to go back to this dentist or maybe try another recommended one. At the risk of being insulting to dentists on the forum, maybe she just didn't do a great job putting the filling in? I would hate her to mess the tooth up when removing the white filling. It's this worry that is keeping me from making an appointment.

Any advice or dentist recommendations would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Maisy Rose
