set in the 70s 80s,a young boy from space( i think) he had some hand held device that im sure could let him see events happening,nit sure s future events or he could see things as they happen,was set im sure in a type of setting like the dukes of hazard,or maybe texas?and also was always been chased by a sheriff,or some type of goverment agents...lol..anyway ill be forever gratefull....:cool::cool::cool:

Kind of sounds like the Sheriff and the Satallite Kid, but that was a movie, not a TV show. There was a sequel to it as well.
