Landlord - proof of ownership for rent allowance

HI,

So I leased my apartment today to a lady that's applying for rent allowance, the application is being held up as they require landlords ( mine) proof of ownership.

Has anybody any experience of this ? My previous tennant was also RA and this was never asked for .

The Rents office only take calls till 12.30(helpful). The person my tennant spoke with suggested mortgage statements, but tbh that's nobodys business but mine.

Anyone been asked to supply this or been requested?

My landlord sent in a copy of her prtb registration.

In most cases it's both especially when it needs to be reviewed once a year

They were happy enough with just the prtb registration in the end. Seems a pointless tick the box exercise .
