BA Flight To Koh Samui Tomorrow? Do I need To Check-in Online?

    Hi,

Myself and my wife are heading to Koh Samui tomorrow. We're flying with BA until Bangkok and then switching to Bangkok Airways for the last short leg to Koh Samui. Are we required to check-in online or can we just show up at the airport tomorrow morning? BA just sent me a mail encouraging me to check-in for the Dub-LHR flight (but not the others). I was just going to do it all at the airport tomorrow morning?

you do't have to check in. Could save you time tomorrow if you can just check in online though and then drop your bags tomorrow. You should be able to book seats for the longer leg as well.

Cheers! We booked our seats for the LHR-BKK leg back in June (as well as the return). Our flight is at 12.55 from DUB tomorrow and we plan to arrive around 9/9.30. If it's grand to check-in when at the airport, we'll do that instead.

One quick question, there is an earlier BA flight to LHR at 11.40. Our layover in LHR is only 1hr 30mins. Any chances of BA putting us on the earlier flight out of DUB if we arrive in time and that flight isn't full?

We're flying into out of T5 so 1hr 30mins should be fine anyway.

Very unlikely they'll change your flight without you paying for it unless they need to (i.e. your original flight is overbooked etc).

1hr 30 should be fine when you're flying into and out of T5

your flight generally leaves on time for LHR so you'll make it with very little time to spare considering that boarding will start about 30 mins prior to departure for BKK.
As long as you're ok with not stopping for food or anything you should be fine.

Sounds good so! One of the reasons for arriving at Dublin airport early is to get food there first before we start our journey.

Careful, that alone could wipe away a lot of holiday funds
