Any recommendations for myself and a few of my mates heading off for first week in October. Just want sun, good nightlife and cheap flights... don't we all I suppose!
Only place I came across is Tenerife most places seem to be dead that time of year. Would prefer to go away different time of year but I'm flat out until then
    Cheers ðŸ‘

Tenerife ticks your boxes. Its a nice island too. I live there, shout if you need any advice.

Yeah at the moment it's looking like Tenerife. Flights only 170 return at the moment. It's working out that we can go the 3rd week in September so hopefully should be sound for good weather at least. Will it be still lively over there at that time of year? There will probably be 4 of us all around 30 year old. Where would be a good area to stay? Be handy to be walking distance to beach and good nightlife. Cheers ðŸ‘

I like the Costa Del Sol at that time of year, not crazy hot (about 22-24C), but the water is a lovely temperature and the school aged beasts are indoors. :) Always been a fan of old Torremolinos.

I see flights from Shannon for around 170 as well. Could be tempted...what's the nightlife going to be like that time of year?

You're only a taxi or train ride from places like Malaga itself and Marbella, so you won't be stuck. Almost all the clubs are open in September, as you go into October, places start closing, but there is always something.

Watch out for accommodation though and make sure you can get some. People choosing not to go to Turkey and North African countries have put a lot of pressure on Costa del Sol accommodation. No point having a cheap flight and nowhere to stay.

If you are into nightclubs + relax, Ibiza closing season starts on mid-september and there are looots of parties everyday.
