    I really like Niall Scannell's speed and low trajectory of delivery at line out time. Not as dynamic a runner as Cronin, although very few hookers in world rugby are but a more consistant thrower. I would be happy for either to start.

    McGuigan cannot play for Ireland. Real pity but has played for Saxons and signed with Tigers. At 120kgs would have offered real ballast. Ireland need someone to come through at hooker - may be McBurney.
