I see that a minimum entry requirement in order to gain entry to the Primary PGDE in Scotland is a minimum B3 in ordinary level Maths. Does anyone know from experience if there is some leeway with this entry requirement?

The same entry requirement applies to the secondary teaching programme over there and I know someone who managed to get an interview – which they subsequently enjoyed success in – even though they had got a lower grade in their Leaving Cert.
