BT/eir Sports on old sky box query

This is more for future reference. I have a realative who's in contract with eir for BT and the old Setanta sports channels using his sky viewing card number and old sky HD box, he's gone from sky about a year. Just wondering if during his eir contract the sky box breaks whats their solution? Buy a new sky box of sky out…

This is more for future reference.

I have a realative who's in contract with eir for BT and the old Setanta sports channels using his sky viewing card number and old sky HD box, he's gone from sky about a year.

Just wondering if during his eir contract the sky box breaks whats their solution? Buy a new sky box of sky out of contract, would eir provide one etc

Just wondering if anyone had this experience with them or Setanta thanks.

Eir won't provide them with a replacement box. They will have to buy one themselves.
