was with a friend of mine last night and he told me he's insured on three cars including a 5 series for €850 a year under his family business. This friend of mine, is however known to be quite the BS'er but he has me convinced this time when he offered to show me some proof by pictures over messenger. He's an 18 yr old student on a learners permit. Is this actually possible or just another drunken rave?

Under his family business... It's not his insurance really. It's there's.

depending on insurance he could be but it could also depend on the business. Most commercial policies insure the vehicles and not the driver so what ever cars/vans he may be driving could be owned by the business and they pay €850 for him as hes under 25 but the policies wouldnt cover him to drive any vehicles owned by another individual or company. Unless the company was insured as a garage/motor trade he may be allowed to drive other cars. I have a friend who did this when he was 18 as his dad had a garage policy he was able to drive any car as he was covered under the garage policy and still is now in his mid 30s.
