    Hi,

Has anyone successfully set-up Retroarch on Windows 10 to use PS3 and/or PS4 controllers?

I have a Wireless Xbox 360 controller working fine but I need to get some additional controllers working. I can use my Dualshock 4 (via USB) controller on Steam no problem using DS4Windows. But when I plug in my Dualshock 4 controller for Retroarch the controls go haywire. I try to use the 'User 2 Bind All' option but it doesn't work.

I don't even get that far with Dualshock 3. Retroarch doesn't recognise it at all from what I can see.

Does anyone have a handy guide or a config file that I could get?

In order to get DS3 working on Windows 10 you need to disable driver signature enforcement.

To do this follow these steps.

    a. Press the Win + C and click on PC settings.
    b. Switch over to the “Update & recovery” section.
    c. Then click on the Recovery option on the left hand side.
    d. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the “Restart now” button.
    e. Once your Computer has rebooted you will need to choose the Troubleshoot option.
    f. Then head into Advanced options.
    g. Then Startup Settings.
    h. The computer will restart.
    I. Here you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is “Disable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need to press the F7 key.

Once that is done, install motionjoy as you usually would and remember to say install anyway when it asks if you are ok with installing an unsigned driver.

I actually saw those instructions and followed it but no luck. It allowed me to install montionjoy but it didn't help.

I got a bit further just now. I have one 360 controller and one PS4 controller working. When I try and add a second PS4 controller it doesn't work.

Not sure if this will help but have you tried ScpToolkit? I saw it mentioned over in PC Gaming a while back and it works great for me for the DS4 on Windows 10.

Scroll down for installation instructions: https://github.com/nefarius/ScpToolkit

After a few more hours of messing around I've decided to give up on it. I have a solution of sorts though.

2 player games (ISS Deluxe, MK2, Mario Kart & WWF Wrestlemania) will work fine on Retroarch.

4 player games I'll use the PS3 for NBA Jam, the 2010 remake. An I have a copy of Bomberman Live on the 360 for more 4-player goodness.
