Morris minor 1000 parts needed URGENT!!!

Hi I need to find someone who has/can get brake cylinders and service stuff for minor 1000.. Car is needed for a wedding on second weekend of August so time is of the essence, any help would be greatly appreciated..

I've tried and tried local motor factors but can't find stuff for it.. Anyone know of any specialist stockists?

Haha if I l ft I might never come back ! Not really an option I'm afraid as have too much work on..

mail order is often next day delivery. I would hve thought your motor factor would have helped you, I know mine would.

I'm in the trade but all 3 my local factors don't want to know even though I buy a lot from them..

wouldn't we all....not easy. You need a Factor who works out of a book rather than off a computer. Where are you?

Based in Sligo, don't mind travelling a bit if can find them but not going to be easy to get in a rush.. True but a lot of people now don't know what a book looks like!

my local factor went through several versions to find me Transit Mk2 bits and Capri Mk3 bits. There's at least two other guys locally with no computer who would go the extra mile to get obscure parts. (MM pats surely not obscure at all)

All the lads around here now are young lads who have no interest in looking, from what I've seen is if it's not on the computer it doesn't exist.. Would it be possible for you to pm contact numbers for the guys you deal with?

I had a similar problem recently looking for a rear wheel bearing for an old car,
local places gave a half hearted look then gave up,saying it couldn't be got.

Rang this company on a Monday the part was with me on Thursday,really good service.
