Security number on credit cards

    A friend of mine used here credit debit card at an atm machine in Spain. The machine had a camera scanning the top and bottom of card, getting her security 3 digit number as well as the card number. Her card details were used online to buy from European stores.
    Folks should be aware of the security code being exposed like this in atm machines.

    Which is it? A credit or debit card?
    Could always hold the card in a way that covers the numbers, this would be better if the generic parts of the card number were at the end of the number.

    The machine had a skimmer, she got skimmed. None of this is news.
