It's been a while since this came out and just want to see what are people's opinions about this album?

I hate to say it but it seems rehashed and underwhelming, For Evigt sounds exactly like Lola Montez and there are few other songs that sound like a re-tread, there is nothing on this like '7 Shots' or 'The Hangman's Bodycount' to make me go holy f*ck.

Gates of Babylon, Goodbye Forever, Black Rose and Seal the Deal are good tracks though so is the cover of Battleship Chains.

Seems like they are running out of ideas :(

yep, i'd go along with everything you said, it's just like previous idea's , like they've settled on their niche and not going to budge, great album but i'd like to see them evolve more

I'm really enjoying the album but I can also see where you are coming from. Its one of those albums that I find I keep going back to the same few songs over and over rather than a complete listen through.

I think Seal the Deal though is a cracker. Would imagine it would be a great live song.

Michael Poulsen mentioned that he had a lot of the songs written years ago so that may be why it hasn't evolved much since the last few albums.

Was really hoping they would come to Ireland. I saw them at Rock Im Park but I'd prefer to see them do their own show.

Given how there is little interest in this thread, it's probably no surprise they're not coming here unfortunately, it's a shame, they've a brilliant back catalogue.

Goodbye Forever has become my favourite track since I started this thread, the quiet verses, the big chorus and the choir is a great touch too, just a shame there aren't too many other stand out tracks on it.

Its a weird one. They're so big on the continent that the size of those shows couldn't be replicated in Olympia/vicar Street, but they wouldn't be near the size of the Point.

They are becoming a rare sight in the UK too for that reason, but hopefully it changes.

Ya they have been headlining all the major European festivals for a good few years now. Best bet is probably going to be to fly to the UK or if there are cheap flights to somewhere in Europe. Might look into it in the future.
