Heading to my gig and flicking through the stations and hear the spice girls-2 much on 98 followed by castles in the sky.

Talk about all over the place.

Is the hot mix gone does any one know? I used to like that but now it seems to be chesy tripe.

They play 'Throwback Anthems' from 6-9 them Hotmix from 9-12, both are pre-recorded and automated which explains it being all over the shop.

Automated from 6pm on a Saturday evening? Sounds like a broke local or niche station, not a huge money spending station that still tries to be one of the big boys, to be honest.

I think they are automated from 9pm each weekday until 6am also. This is about 38% of thier total weekday output. Comparing to 104 who have no automation, that I am aware of, on weekdays. This must be another factor in the big distance between both.

You're spot on there. 9-10: On Air with Ryan Seacrest syndication 10-12: Dublin Talks re-runs 12-6: Automated playlist.

The station basically dies at 9pm every night.
