    Hi all,

Any suggestions on how this small area look some bit presentable. Cheap and cheerful will suffice.

Is there such thing as pouring self-levelling concrete and just let it cure? Not looking for anything fantastic.

    Thanks

the self levellings are mostly for indoors.
any levelling outside would need to be of a decent thickness to avoid cracking, halfway up the bottom step.

Maybe 600 by 600 concrete slabs laid on a good thick bedding to get over the humps and hollows [400 by 400 either]

Don't know how raising it all 60 or 75mm would fit in with other levels around the garden

A deck up to the level of the last step? Just a thought

Was thinking decking eventually alright but I thought it might be a bit of an outlay with materials and equipment (keen on diy but someone doing it will probably be much cheaper). Any idea of costs for a small patio there?

    Thanks for that. Good advice.

To get halfway up the step would be quite a lot of concrete, I'd imagine??

I should be probably get a sense of the level across the patio - high parts to low parts or what slope I need to work towards.

I do have concrete slabs out the back actually. I think they're 600 X 600. Would I have to kango up what's there or lay them over it with rubble and sand underneath to bring it to level?

Decking needs annual painting ( 50) euro per can for average. Would go with slabs

Good advice. Would I just lay the slab on some sand and bring it to level as best I can and then concrete/mortar the edges and feather.

No need to kango, depending on the differential levels and the slope you want I am thinking a good mortar bed underneath the slabs: if it a dry mix it wont squash too much when you ease the slabs down on it
