Oldies Original band in Limerick

    Looking to start an originals band for old rockers like myself in the Limerick area,
    I started my career in an original band and would love to give it a go again not for fame or fortune mind, just a handful of gigs in a few select places in a year or something like that.
    I'm 51 years old and my preference would be towards a shoe gazer sound ie Jesus & Mary Chain meet Pavement with plenty of "musical" distortion thrown in,
    I have a few ideas for songs etc but I'm a drummer by trade and I definitely can't sing so ideally looking for lead and rhythm guitarists and a bass player and hopefully one of ye can sing !
    I'm in no rush whatsoever with this project but I would like to hook up with like minded people be they old or young and see if something could come of it.

    I play a bit of guitar/bass myself, would be in interested in working on originals, shoe gaze or alternative instrumentals with a rock/heavy/noise vibe sound good. if you're still up for it drop me a pm
