Are they any good for checking pH in the soil. Are they reliable compared to soil sampling properly

Soil sampling costs a little over a euro per acre. Gives you ph, P&K. Why mess around with anything else?

A bit more than a euro an acre unless you have 25 acre fields

Second last post. 12.50 per sample. Normally do 12 acres per sample for cross compliance. No need to do individual fields/paddocks as long as the acres in each sample are of a similar soil type and have been treated roughly the same.
