seiyajapan customs & import

Hi,
Does anyone have experience ordering on seiyajapan and getting hit with customs?
I'm thinking of ordering a Seiko for around $400, and it looks like I'd be paying €90 import duties on top of that?

Ive bought 2 watches off them, and on both occasions was hit with customs charges, cant remember the first time, but the second time I had to pay the postman.

Yeah, seiya is very above board, no hiding from charges there. I paid 140!

Everybody I've heard from on TZ-UK has got hit by customs - I believe that Seiya is scrupulously honest with declared values and in the UK these always get picked up - no reason to believe that the Revenue Commissioners would be any different.

Unless I am missing something, the tone of the thread is "how much should I expect to pay?", no reference whatsoever to avoiding anything...
