Anyone know if the VU+ Duo or Duo 2 have DLNA capability. Or if they have an option to install an FTP plugin.

    Cheers.

    [Edit]

What, no-one? Anyone on the forum even using a VU+?

Regarding the ftp functionality it is possible to ftp to and from the box without need for any plugin. It's just like ftp'ing to any other linux box.

What exactly are you trying to do with regards to DLNA? It's possible (and easy) to stream live TV or recordings to other devices (other enigma2 boxes, PCs, iPads, iPhones, etc).

Cheers for that ShaneOC. Looking at available options, VU+ Duo gets very high ratings though seems quite 'high end'. Something less expensive may suffice. Having looked a little more into this it seems most of the Linnux boxes have ftp built in as standard.

Hi greasepalm, Yes I use FileZilla client to pull files from a DVBt PVR onto my Mac. The DVBt option may be about to become very restricted, so gathering intel to 'redeploy' as it were.
