Crowns for Front teeth

My two front teeth both have root canals and are chipped due to an accident 25 years ago.

I use<snip>O'Connell street for general check ups, fillings etc. They also do crowns but I have no idea who their specialist is or if there's a gold standard for crowns in Dublin that I should be going to instead.

There's a dentist in Drogheda offering Zirconia (same as <snip>) crowns but for a much lower price. I don't know if you can go cheap with crowns and be safe once it's the same material?

I don't want to do a rush job on these seeing as it's going to be expensive and you can't hide your front teeth!

    Any tips appreciated :D

The fit of the crown and the appearance are independent of the material. I have seen nice Zirconia crowns and I have seen horrible ones. The material does not matter. The dentist will decide the material based on a blend your bite and aesthetic requirement.

As a dentist I can have a laboratory make me a Crown for a front tooth from whatever material for between X euro and 20X euros. Generally the better laboratories charge more, their crowns look better and fit better. Also generally better dentists charge more.

There is a good specialist in Drogheda I can PM you if you want, they are not the cheapest but results are generally v good.

Thank you very much for the clarity you've given me. I mistakenly thought the material was the number 1 decider of how the crown would look.

I would very much appreciate the details of that specialist if it would not be too much trouble for you!
