I'm not radio technical so apologies for not knowing the correct terminology. This past few mornings I've noticed a lower sound level on one of 2FM frequencies driving around parts of Offaly. The radio automatically switches over and back driving around.

The only thing ive noticed around cork is the sound going up and down on the car radio with 2fm.

Mullaghanish (92.2) has a much louder level than Spur Hill/Collins Barracks (91.4/92.0)

I know I wouldn't be listening to those around Offaly. The radio is tuned to 91.0 but I don't know the frequency it jumps to. Only listen to it in the mornings to Breakfast Republic. It's been like that for the past week. Today FM on the way home is fine though. So it must be a 2FM related issue rather than a transmitter site problem.

Something seems to be up big time today.

The audio on 2FM was all over the place this morning, the mics sound like they're being run through telephone lines, music is horribly "trebly" with no bass whatsoever and there was a massive difference in level between 90.7 and 91.3 in Dublin.
