Interesting fact: Hinkley did actually kill someone in that shooting, although it took 33 years for it to happen.

Jim Brady, Regan's Press Secretary, was shot in the head and suffered a debilitating brain injury. He died in 2014 and his death was ruled a homicide. Hinkley didn't face charges for it since he had already been ruled insane.
