Recommendation - August Bank Holiday

Hi, Can anyone make a recommendation for the August Bank Holiday for a family break within 2 hours (ish) of Dublin. Looking for self catering (Cottage, Apt) or hotel for Sat, Sun night with something interesting to do with young kids (2 years of age) e.g. Petting farm etc. I know very late planning. Thanks, P

Hi,

Try AirBnB for something around Greystones, Kilcoole or Newcastle area - you're sure to get some nice houses available. Great springboard for exploring the Wicklow mountains for a day trip or two plus Kilcoole has Glenroe farm which is excellent for the kids. Beaches in Kilcoole and Greystones too, if the weather pick up!
