Appealing exam results.

I recently appealed my exam results as I did not get the 2.1 I need to do a masters course which I have been offered (I was 8% off). I was sick at the start of the year and missed a lot (I went into more detail for the Appeal). I was told yesterday that after 2 meeting the exam board decided not to hold up my appeal. I am so upset. I really had my heart set on the Masters. Is there anything else I can do other than repeating the year, I don't think I can afford to pay full fees. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might be able to sit some exams externally? My friend tried that and only had to sit the exams and submit assignments. It was very much cheaper and she didn't have to go to class. Worth enquiring about.

Probably should also talk to the people you applied to for the masters. They may let you interview and get in anyway?
