Does anybody know when the current model is due to be replaced?

It got a facelift under a year ago, so there's life in the old dog yet.

Second generation Kia Optima was quietly launched here at the end of last year. Basically an i40 underneath but a bit fresher if you want something along that line.

Most models for any manufacturer, run usually around a six year cycle, with a mid life face lift in between.
One of the reasons is yet another tactic of getting people to buy new every three years.

i40 came out in Europe for 2012 with a slight face lift in 2015, so if they go with convention, new model due about end of 2017 for 2018.
