    Greetings! :D

I am thinking of getting out of Dublin for a couple days on my own. Looking for recommendations for hotels, bars, restaurants and cafes!

I have the Brandon and the Grand reservation pages open at mo. Both look ok and reasonably cheap. Although, if I go this weekend I may have to do both the Grand is booked out for Sat.

In terms of pubs/cafes etc, what do you recommend and also things to do etc.

    :)

Benners hotel is another town centre hotel option. If you have a car you may need to pay for on street parking for those hotels. The Rose hotel (formerly Fels point) is still within walking distance to town centre but has parking.

Plenty of good pubs & restaurants to choose from. Sean Ogs good for a bit of trad music. No. 4 on the Square is good for food & a drink. Il Forno a lovely pizza/Italian.
