Shipping problems to Ireland?

Hi, anyone else having problems with orders not arriving to destination?
I have 3 separate orders that haven't arrived although the estimated arrival was 2 weeks ago.
2 orders from amazon.co.uk and 1 from ebay.com (China location).
Did the brexit story screw this (for amazon)?

Just wondering if I'm alone. No tracking for either order, unfortunately.

How long ago were they shipped? i know that china post small packets can take up to 60 days.

almost a month, both UK ones and China one. While I understand China is a long way from here, I don't know what's happening to the UK ones. I've contacted the sellers but I doubt they can find anything if there's no tracking.

I usually purchase from china and most of the time it only takes 8 days for delivery to arrive to Dublin using standard post. Amazon usually takes two weeks.

8 days? i've never got anything that quickly. i wish i could. even china post registered packets with a tracking number are quoted at 15-35 days and usually end up somewhere in the middle. You'll have to tell me what service they are using.

Just standard delivery was all I used. I was always surprised at how fast the delivery was from them. june/july seem to be the fastest I've noticed, but september onwards can be slow. I'll have to look into which service they used.

I am waiting on a dealextreme order placed on 8th july and was a MV product supposedly ready to ship in 24hrs. Would not consider it late yet.

I'm ordered big package (~200kg) from ebay UK location (seller is agent of Chinese company), he marked item as dispatched and after few days he returned to me with information he can't deliver to my address in Ireland. After few days of e-mailing I got refund. I suppose problem with this kind of sales is a they don't realize Ireland is a on separate island - not UK and not continent itself. When they try to put this through fees appear bigger than they expect.

DealExtreme take so long they might as well be walked over. No surprise there.

...and don't forget your postcode/Eircode.

I am not sure, but I would like to think that parcels have a better chance of finding their destination if the postcode box is correctly filled with an Eircode. That way the parcel is identified as not being a UK parcel, (but very specifically an ROI delivery).

That's just my opinion.

Some items are tagged with. The same products are often under different codes on DX, but prices can change, ones with the MVP tagged cost a bit more.
