Buying USD and GBP Stock

    Hi Guys,

Kinda new to this investing thing (by new i mean actually buying, been studying for years).

Essentially, i have a number of USD and GBP stocks that i want to buy over the coming period (price dependent) but I am worried about Fx exposure.

Essentially, I think sterling is falsely weak atm, so i want to buy GBP shares to take advantage of this but alternatively i am able to get a UD share for a good price so i am thinking of going there?

What do people usually do in this scenario?

    Advice much appreciated.

I don't worry about hedging at all. I have a full-time job, so it's hard enough for me to find investments that will produce a decent return, let alone have to worry about FX risk. That is not to say it doesn't affect my investment choices. For example, the US currently has a strong Dollar and a stock market that's trading at all time highs. Clearly it's going to be harder to make money there than in the UK where Sterling has weakened and the market is a little cheaper.
