Going to Install dish for Thor hungarian channels however the cable run length will be close to 100m would webro 100 be upto the job without inline amp, will be beaming a 1.2m dish for optimal signal with low noise lnb.

You would be nuts to even think of running something that long over webro.

What situation presents a scenario that a dish would have to be over 300 feet away from the source.

Living in a basement of a 100 metre high tower block with the dish on the roof.

In answer to the OPs question, no.

But in line amps are not expensive and should be installed half way along the cable.

Install has Large trees surrounding the property, Mounting of dish on chimney not an option in this case due to dish size will firstly try RF100 with Inline amp midway on cable run if this combo doesnt trigger Lnb switching will try the webro cheers, ranger4.
