Ripplecom broadband terrible service

    I've been a customer of ripplecom for many years and before that ice broadband which ripplecom took over have to say it is the worst service ever bad signal strike speeds customer service is disgraceful I've got a woman called Ruth on phone most disrespectful person ever to speak to and when you ask her to pass you to Supervisior she refuses to do so

    Living in the country this is only service of Internet we can get for now as eir is not j process of bringing fiber broadband to Longwood

    Would highly advice people to stay clear of this rip off company and people should contact comreg to complain like they did with ice broadband

    I was with Ripplecom for many years, and they can be hit and miss alright. Similar experience with poorer service than the company they took over (Amocom which was excellent). Can't say I ever had a rude person for customer support, usually found them ok (once you actually got one on the phone - god forbid if something happened to your signal over the weekend, you were on yer own). Service was ok too within the the limits of what they supply.
    Left Ripplecom in February as soon as Imagine became available in my area and haven't looked back one second :). Did you check if they are available / are coming to your area? Detailed info here

    Eir are in the process of bringing fibre to Longwood, Co. Meath. No exact date but should be within the next month or two.
