    Hi,

Selling this for a friend. Bike is is very good condition, well looked after and always kept indoors.

BMC GF02, aluminium frame/carbon fork, rim brake version.

    Size 54

I think the frame model is 2014, but the frame was purchased only last year and built up/used since October. Approx 2k km on it. Still looks in great condition, and is a very nice looking frame. (Not washed prior to photos being taken)

Groupset - full SRAM Force 22 groupset. approx 5k km on it (with the exception of the bottom bracket, new one put in when frame built up, so 2k km on that)

Wheels - Campy Zonda wheels, Shim/SRAM model (obviously!). Bought along with frame, so approx 2k km on them. Clad in Schwalbe Durano 25mm tyres.

    Other components:
    - Shimano 105 carbon pedals
    - Easton EA70 handlebar (40cm c-to-c I think, can double check if needed)
    - Easton EA70 seatpost (27.2)
    - FSA OS99 stem (90mm)

Sold as in the photos, except saddle & Garmin mount not included. Weighs 8kg so this is no slouch

    Bike is available from mid-August

    Price: €800

    Thanks

Long shot, but would they be interested in selling wheels separately? I could do part exchange with practially new vision trimax t25 wheels so they still sell the bike with wheels.

Thanks, but not going to swap wheels. I'm tempted to take the wheels myself, but hopefully they help sell the full bike.

No problem. Let me know of there's a change if heart. Theyve done very little at all. I was trying to be creative and think they'd possibly make more money!

I'd nearly make an offer for it all but I'd be murdered.

Ah sure, take the risk! You only live once

BMC is 8kg. I can verify exact weight tonight

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,159 ✭✭✭Alanbt

BMC weighs 7.99kg per scales, shown in photo attached.
    Weighed as shown in photos.

Please move talk relating to the other wheels to another thread.

    Thanks

    Any interest?

Splitting would be considered if there were takers for most parts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 87 ✭✭BremoreDave

I'd interested in the Zondas if you are splitting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Might be interested in the groupset. Is it compact or standard.

    Standard 53/39

I'd interested in the Zondas if you are splitting

If I get takers for the group and frame then I'll split. Will let you know

If splitting, then the wheels would be available too.
Need takers for group and frame before splitting

Ideally would prefer compact but can you tell me what the crank arm length is and how much for the group.

    172.5

Still looking for sale of the full bike at the moment, but will look into splitting if no luck over the next few days.

I'd take a very reasonable €225 for the groupset if split. Wouldn't go any lower

€220 (very firm) for the wheels/tires

    €250 for the frameset/headset

    €20 pedals
    Handlebars/stem/seatpost €40

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Hi I'll give you 240 for the pedals and group, but I will take the group at asking if you split.

If no movement on the full bike by next Monday, then I'll go with this

I think under forum rules I have first call on the group seeing as I offered asking.

If i will offer that i will buy wheels, cockpit and groupset is seller will be obliged to sell you one thing? My offer is different than yours therefore seller is not obliged to anything.

    Cheers

With respect ,the items are listed separately in post#20.I said I would take the group at asking. If Mods are prepared to adjudicate on this I will accept their decision. You offered asking on groupset and wheels not on any other items.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 860 ✭✭✭micase

Can Alanbt get mods to rule?

Dont get me wrong. Youve offered asking for groupset and ive offered that i will buy wheels AND groupset together. Which is different offer as seller can sell two major items at once or just one. I wont take groupset without wheels and vice versa so its kinda bundle offer. Im ok if seller decide what to do but im far from oblige him to do anything as he is free human being :).

    Cheers

Agree but the rules of the forum are there for everyone.Might be irrelevant if the complete bike is sold.

Agree but would you link where is rule that seller is OBLIGED to accept better or worse offer only because buyer pointed out willing of buying? I mean that if i would be a seller i would prefer to sell few items to one person as its clearly bundle buy which is more desired by sellers.

This debate is very strange to me.
Just to be clear. I am interested in buying both wheelset and groupset together.
I will let seller decide if he want to sell wheels and groupset to secure 450e deal or not.
Just to clarify that i want to buy wheels amd groupset as a bundle and im not interested in wheels or groupset seperately.

    Cheers

Really interested in the frame if this does end up being split.

I may well be shot if I arrive home with another bike but surely it's easier to smuggle in a frame ;)

I'll offer €200 as I think it may be a bit small I'll have to look into it.

BTW the whole package would be excellent for someone getting into cycling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,159 ✭✭✭Alanbt

My view would be that the offer to buy both wheels and group is different to just the group, as I have clearly indicated in thread that hopefully the whole lot will sell.
Offer to buy 2 parts is closer to this.

I am happy to throw this open to mod ruling, but not sure how to

It is a good deal for the whole lot.
If you went to €240 if throw in the seatpost/bars/stem

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,159 ✭✭✭Alanbt

The sale of the whole bike in one transaction is still the aim.

As said before, will only split if no sale of full bike by Monday

How about €210 for frame and seat post? I've no real need for the bars/stem.

What width/length are they btw. I think there was a previous offer for the cockpit?

shame to see it split mind.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,060 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    mod ruling???

Surely it's up to the seller to decide who he wants to sell to....

    €215?
Would be a shame alright. Still a chance for it to go whole.

Don't think there was an offer on the cockpit, unless I've missed something.
    I believe bars are 40cm c to c

    €215 is good for me.

Sure let me know how you get on I'd take the whole package only I'd be shot.

    "sin_26

On the whole debate over who's in first on the groupset. The way I see it they're 2 entirely different offers. OP has the choice to choose which way it's split and first preference is the entire bundle.

I don't blame you. You were the first to offer I asking on groupset - one of three lots offered in post 20 - where bike wasn't being sold as one unit

Thanks for your input. I think I am within my rights to sell to someone offering to take 2 parts rather than have to arrange 2 meetings/transactions

No takers for the full bike emerged, so will split.

    Wheels and group to Sin_26
    Frameset/Seatpost to iwillhtfu

I will get the bike and split it during the week, so might be the weekend until available for collection/meet up.

    Will sort out in PM.

    Cheers
