I had one of those, and they're not even worth the 5, as the stickiness wears off after a very short time, and 'washing' the pad doesn't improve matters much.

First time I used one it pulled the back cover off my phone trying to get it off. Wouldn't be bothered picking up another.

I have a jml one of these, looks identical to the one here. Think it was 10 2 yrs ago, it's fantastic, still as sticky as ever, give it a wipe every now and them and bob's yer uncle.
It will prob depend on your phone too though, I've always had plasticky backed phones, and they stick perfectly, don't think my wife's iphone was as good, though as it's always in a big leather case, who would know!

Have the same one bought in eurogiant 2 years ago still as sticky as ever with a wash under the tap. I was super sceptical about it but a taxi driver recommended it to me - he didn't appreciate me pointing out it looked like a panty liner though :pac:

Only happens on the first stick of two after cleaning if you stick your palm on it first it reduces the stickiness to usable levels.

I have no issue, I wonder do the people who had problems use soap that could easily feck it up depending on the chemicals involved.

I had the JML one and found that used to leave my phone feeling sticky. Used to drive me nuts. I think there have been a few revisions of this though so maybe they have improved.
Dumped my one after a couple of weeks.
