    HI

Can I kindly ask if someone could translate the following for me into German:

Sorry- the Coffee Shop in this area is CLOSED.

    THanks

    Beautiful language, German.

OP, what do you mean by "in this area"? That may change the translation. Are there more coffee shops in a separate area?
Would "Sorry, coffee shop is closed" suffice?

    Hi Biko....

    That would do perfect.

Closed for good or a certain time period? Might be worth putting on the dates if it's just a temporary break or holidays.

I would certainly not recommend Google translate

Yeah in Google Translate you get "Sorry, Coffee-Shop geschlossen"!?

From my (very basic) German I though "Es tut mir leid" was "sorry/apologies".

Leider -'unfortunately/sadly '- is best imo

    Correct is:

Leider ist das Lokal (or "das Kaffee) hier (referring to area) geschlossen.

You wouldn't really translate "in this area" into German if its just referring to that local one that is closed.
You would be also better off to address the customer and add a thanks etc
