    Hi

The bath is leaking when shower taken in it. I sealed around the bath and tiles before, but silicone must be gone again.

Is there something like a white trim I could get from Woodies which I could put between tiles and bath and it would be more of a long term job ? Would I have t take off the wall tiles to put n this trim ? Thanks

Have you examined the last few row of tiles? If you give me a gentle push & there is movement then the grout may have failed.

Are you standing at the plughole when taking a shower?

Yes - when I take a bath no water leaks so it must be the tiles around the bath...

I would say it's the washer around the plughole myself

You could be warping the area around the plughole causing water to seep through

Can you check if the pipe is wet under the bath?

    I had this exact issue

But if it was the washer around the plughole - should it then also leak when taking a bath ?

The pressure from the water in a bath might force the plug to seal whereas there would be no pressure on it when having a shower.

No because when you are having a bath the weight is spread unless you sit your bum on the bath plug

If you concentrate the weight on the plughole you can warp the surrounding area

Test it by standing in the shower and hold the hose around the plughole. Then check If there is water on the outside of the pipe

tubs and tiles and chadwicks do them, you also need 2 tubes of sealux silicone,if your taking off a row of tiles sealux pro 25 is the one,if putting it outside the tiles, use a sealux reg 25 [cosmetically doesnt look as good].the bath needs to be checked to see if the top of bath is springing down under the tiles,it may not be correctly supported

I thought tubs & tiles went bust a few years ago. Must have been just some branches
