in case anyone wasn't aware of it ;)

The third Le Cheile International Meet is on this Saturday in Leixlip.

Highlights include the Ronnie Delaney 1500m, with the man himself presenting the prizes, contenders include John Travers, Jordy Williamsz, and Tom Lanchashire. Laura Crowe will be running the 800, against last year's World Student Games winner Angela Petty. Ran this meet the last 2 years. Very well organised and a nice atmosphere. Nice balance between elite races and races for club athletes. Unfortunately missing it this year.

Being an advocate for public transport, just thought I'd mention that the Maynooth line train stops literally a 2 minute walk from the track, at Leixlip Louisa Bridge.

Start lists and timetable now up. Looking like it's going to be one of the best meets this year for shear numbers, can't wait now!

Really enjoyed this meet, nice and relaxed with some great races - the men's 1500 was a fantastic race. Great to see Ronnie Delaney in the flesh. Will definitely be back next year
