Using Chromecast Audio with Deezer via LTE

Hi all, a question for those who use Deezer/Spotify or any music streaming service with a chromecast audio device.

I have a 4G mobile broadband dongle from Three which creates a Wi-Fi network and to which I connect all my phones/tablets/chromecasts etc.
Works great. So I can open Deezer, select a playlist, tap the cast option and play on my soundbar to which I have the chromecast audio installed.
Its using the mobile broadband data package which has a strict 60GB limit per month.

Now, my phone is the Oneplus 3 which is a dual sim phone. I have my main number in slot 2 and all calls and texts are setup to use this sim.
In slot 1 I have a Three PAYG 4G sim with "unlimited" data for €20 per 30 days.

If I disable Wi-Fi on my phone the PAYG sim switches to LTE mobile data mode and I can listen to Deezer on my phone. But I want to cast it to my chromecast audio. But it seems I cant use the chromecast audio unless Wi-Fi is enabled as that is how it gets its data.

My problem is that once I enable Wi-Fi, the data is once again being pulled down over the mobile broadband dongle and not by the PAYG sim which I want to use for that traffic.

Does anyone know how to setup to have the chromecast see the Wi-Fi but not download from it but continue to use my PAYG phone sim data package?

I hope this makes sense? Any help appreciated.

Why don't you swap the SIMS around. Put the PAYG SIM in the dongle instead?

There used to be a WiFi priority mode in < v5 of Android, but it was removed, so I don't think you can do what you want) i.e. prefer mobile data when connected to WiFi, unless you use an app for that (there probably is one, I'll have a mooch around)

[Edit] Maybe Tasker? - prefer mobile data when connected to this wifi?

If you turn a hot spot on on your phone and connect the chromecast to it, can the phone cast the lte sourced audio out to it as if they were both on the same network? Not sure it'd work but something to try

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that already but it didn't work.

I'll try Tasker...Might do what I want, Thanks for the suggestion.
I cant swap the sims as the dongle uses a standard sized sim while the OnlePlus 3 is a nano sim.

SIM adaptors aren't expensive, or you could pick up another PAYG sim for free somewhere, that supports all sizes and just chuck away the SIM part maybe? The Three ones should have all the adaptors
