Hi. Started work 4 weeks...in week 26 of year. I haven't had any tax deducted and only 1% USC and 4% PRSI. My salary is around 1000 a week gross, and my tax credits are 88.20 a week. Not sure why USC is only at 1%?

Thats the lowest USC band. You get 12012 USC a year at 1% or 231 cumulative at 1%.

But I earned around 900 a week so is the USC wrong, or is there something here to do with starting the job in week 26? I'm paid fortnightly. My last payslip shows 1900 salary and 19 USC paid!

Yeah its cumulative through the year so on week 26 you have 26(231)=€6006 at the lower band.

It will unwind through the year though so you will see numerous pay cuts.
