    Hi all,
I'm currently with Eir and paying 60p/m, which I think is a ridiculous price for the speeds we're getting. According to Eir speed test I'm getting a max of 4Mbps Download and 0.5Mbps Upload.
I'm looking for a new ISP preferably cheaper and also something with higher speeds, specifically Upload Speed as I'm looking to start streaming on Twitch soon and the speed I'm at just can't handle it.
    Recommendations?

Are you in a Virgin Media or Siro area or is wireless bb available to you? If not then all the other providers just re-sell eir products, so your speeds wont change regardless.

Zoom in on the NGA Fiber Broadband Network here and see is there a planned upgrade on the cabinet nearest you, it's the 3rd Map http://www.openeir.ie/Our_Network/

OP is correct if DSL is your only option if no Virgin around everyone just resells the same line as you have, so if you go with Sky, Vodafone etc you'll get exactly what you have now as it's still the same line.

Price wise if you've sky tv you can haggle a really good deal if you bundle up your broadband and tv. Try hard enough and you can get that €60 down to €30

As others point out, most other wired ISPs only resell the crap that eir currently provide you with.

After you check the open eir link provided above - if there are no plans for your exchange/cab or if you are not on a blue line with plans for autumn 2016-spring 2017, then maybe check if you are in an Imagine LTE area or if they are planning to cover your area.

Otherwise use this map to check for other Wireless ISPs.
