    Hi,

Looking to get info on this area, any info in relation to floods, road safety, general safety, burglaries, problem families, community spirit, any tips or things to know about?

    thanks..

I live across the other side of the Navan Road from Annamoe, near Christ the King Church.
Flooding? Our road gets flooded but not Annamoe as far as I know.

I like the area, there are plenty of amenities around. You have a Pizza Max on Annamoe, and there tends to be kids hanging out by it now and then, and of course the delivery guys coming and going into the night.

As for crime, well the only thing I've experienced is the shots fired at a house in Cuala Road two weekends ago. Just around the corner from me.

What part of anamoe are you looking at, the road, drive, park?

Couple of years ago there was a nasty aggravated burglary in one of the big houses toward Tesco Cabra there. I don't live near there but I'd say it's slightly tender.

i drive through Annamoe a fair bit and it always seems to me like a nice settled area, the houses on the Road are fairly large and the rest of it is standard Cabra two beds.
Cabra Road on one side and the NCR on the other, it's within walking distance of both town and the Phoenix Park.
The nicest bakery in Dublin is a 5 minute walk away

Avoid anamoe park. It's bandit country.

    Surely that's subjective.
Clarkes have really cut back on their black forest ingredients!

It was always known as a rough spot. The drive was better.

I've been around both the drive and the park during the day a few times in the past year and they seem quiet enough.. perhaps the area has matured a bit and its worst days are history..
