Google play movies wont play

    I have a mx3 Andriod tv box 4.4.2.
    Using Google play movies when playing films i get no picture but can get sound, tried same films on utube app, my downloads, and can same.
    tried clearing cache /data in apps sign in/out of google account, no joy,
    any idea why? thanks.

    Same thing happened me but with a download, the codec wasn't playable by the chip in the box. Would've thought Play Movies would work ok though?

    Google the name of the chip in your mx3 and what codecs work.
