Rent allowance and BTEA processing time

    Hi guys. I'm on receipt of JSA for many months. I'm living in a private accommodation for 7 months alrwdgy and rent is increasing from 120w to 165w. Can anyone tell me how long does it take to get rent allowance. And also I'm going back to full time education and I'm about to apply for BTEA. How long will the processing time take? Will my JSA be cut and then after start receiving BTEA or it will be only transferring benefit?
