Just seen this on the M9, would a buzzard be capable of this?

Loads of raptors out today, in not even looking properly and I've seen 4 small raptors (all separate) and two buzzards in about 25 minutes.

What do you mean by tussling?? Buzzards will hunt crows but only if they the get above the crow.

If you're asking if Buzzards and Crows would get in a bit of a scrap, then yeah it would be quite common alright!

It looked like a buzzard was attacking a crow in flight. There were at about tree top height with the crow trying to fly into the trees.

I was going by on the motorway so only got to see this for a few seconds.

I've buzzards nesting across from a rookery close to me the past two Summers. They get mobbed constantly. The chicks are crying out for feeding the past week now so I reckon a few crows are going to be on the menu!
