    Hi, I have a 2005 avensis with manual air con which is working well.
    Is it possible to install the digital climate control from the higher spec avensis of the same vintage? I see a few of these going reasonably cheaply on auction sites.
    Also , similar question regarding the stereo from 2006 on which has mp3 compatibility, can these be retrofitted too or are there issues ?

    You'd need to change more than just the panel, you'd need to change the air box/fan unit behind the glovebox too. And probably a loom, plus you'd need to install sensors for the climate control part.
    Stereo swaps straight over, AFAIK, but it's only MP3/WMA discs it plays. It doesn't have an aux in.
