    Hi,

Looking for a suggestion to enter the world of Android without breaking the bank. I'm on Meteor sim only (so am flexible but equally don't have option ofan upgrade) and have had Windows Phones (800, 920, 930) for the past few years. Recently moved my wife to a Moto G 3rd Generation and she loves it.

Don't wanna splash as far as a One Plus3. What's the generally accepted best phone I'll get for around the € 200 mark or less? Happy to buy in a shop here or buy online. Should I be looking at one of those Smart Ultra Vodafone models, something from Xiaomi, an earlier One Plus version or something else?

I've scanned the first three pages of the forum and couldn't find a similar thread.

Get a Smart Ultra and get an unlock code on eBay. The 6 is out a while and the new model is on sale now.

Whatever you get, just don't get anything that only has 8gb of internal storage.

Just got a Smart Ultra 7 for herself and have been playing around with it the last hour or so. It's pretty decent for 200 notes. Just waiting on the unlock code from eBay for it.

EDIT - Code arrived in 5 minutes to unlock it, €1.68 was the cost. You just need to be sure that the iemi of the phone you buy starts with 357042 and you're away.

Get the Moto G4-€180 in Argos - great phone.

Thanks all, yeah I was wondering if models from B&M store last would be best route or something online. Would a previous One Plus model be better than those suggested and in the price range?

My father had the smart 6 and it seemed like big enough a phone to me. Did I read on a thread that the 7 wasn't necessarily better all round?

As I mentioned, my wife just got the Moto G 3rd Gen - is fourth that much better?

    Anything else to consider?

From having a one plus one a couple of years ago which can be had on adverts for the price of the ultra 7 I think they are the better phone. No warranty at this stage if that's a consideration. One plus X is 240 though which might be worth looking at. The Nexus 5x regularly pops up for around that too.
