    Hi,
    Does anyone have any information of Fidelity Investments what its like to work their and the people?

    They are moving a huge amount of people from London to Dublin now so I'd try and get in their if I could. From what I understand they treat employees very well in the London office anyway, so you'll have no worries from that end. Stressful work in the place no doubt, but worthwhile for the positive impact on a CV etc.

    Thanks for the reply. Im starting their in a couple of weeks, as an entry level poistion, just curious about the hours would i be expected to do much overtime

    I think that's Fidelity International. Fidelity Investments are in City West. International are in the city centre. They have little to do with each other.
    However the rest of the answer is valid for Investments anyway. I worked there years ago. They were a good employer then and the guys I know that are still there are generally positive about the company and work. In my area overtime wasnt really an option or needed. We'd hand over to the US guys before heading home. There was on call alright but you get an allowance if you go on that.

    Depends on if you want to move up from the entry level position, I've noticed the people who graft a bit longer and help the boss if there stuck even if it's leaving time are the ones who jump up the ladder, being in early doesn't hurt either.
