I managed to find out a fair bit of info. but ..
As my area is supposed to go “live” soon, how can I find out which cabinet my line is connected to? Is there a way to check it, or do you have ask Eircom?

    You can't.

I know what cabinet I'm on but only because the KNN installer told me when I asked him. And it's not the one closest to me.

After years of waiting, disappointment, frustration and anger watching Eircom set a date, then move the goal posts; they finally put up a “expected to go live date”.. (it was the 20th July), needless to say it’s still not on, so no change there, anyone any idea on how long after the “expected to go live date” they actually come through?

Who posted that date, OpenEir or Eir? You can ignore the latter.

It becomes available to sell 1 mo after the go live date, so if OpenEir said July 20 then sales begin Aug 20.

It's OpenEir on the Where and When map site....
