Any opinions? How is itbfor fuel efficiency?
Its 2007 and mileage is sub 100km.
Asking price just over 4k .
Based on the above car and the fact I roughly have 5k to spend, would I be better off getting a mondeo ( harder to find )
Any opinions on the above car appreciated!
    Ps I usually drive 300 k a week.

Had one for a year before it was stolen :(

Very reliable car, the 1.6 VCTI engine is very solid and gives decent (nothing amazing) power for a car that size. The Ghia spec has cruise control headed front window, a/c etc.

Fuel efficiency was as you would expect for a petrol of that size in a car that size. The mondeo is a much bigger and heavier car so if thinking of the 1.6 petrol as well then the fuel efficiency wouldn't be as good.

hI Thanks so much for the response.
Do you think 1.8 Diesel would be a better option in terms of fuel efficiency?
thats ..2006 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI LX 115PS...

What annual mileage and type of driving are you doing? Constant short start/stop city type driving with a diesel car will give you no benefit on mpg. Diesels take longer to warm up and offer superior fuel economy on long runs.
The fact that all of your threads to date have been about petrol cars would suggest you don't need a diesel.

Actually on a side note is it possible to keep all your questions about different cars in one thread rather than starting a new thread for thoughts on different makes of car? The forum gets a bit cluttered with loads of those threads making it harder to navigate through and people just end up skipping over them. You might get more helpful responses too having just one general car buying thread.
