Shrub/tree ID please?

What is the name of this tree? (It may have been a shrub one day in the past...) The flowers look like fuchsia to me, but I can't find a photo of any fuchsia that looks like this. It never opens to the typical fuchsia type flower. Gone to seed appearance is in inset. Thanks in advance. ID query.jpg

Query answered. I looked beyond fuchsias... It is the Lantern Tree (Crinodendron hookerianum ).
